Is anyone familiar with paltalk? If so, how do you get a nickname and all that. Also, how accessible is it, with jaws 9.0?

WHat is it is what I'd like to know? If I can find anyone on their, I'll try it out, but from what I've heard from cody, and a few others, its not that great, and full of ads. Is this true?

Hi,
I use to use Paltalk. It is not that great and yes, there are some ads.
I don't know how well it works with Jaws.
When you install it, it will bring up a screen where you can create an account.

Paltalk is a multi-room voice, cam and text chat site with hundreds of rooms run by members and staff on loads of topics. I have an account but haven't used it for months. I believe you can create a free account at the site paltalk.com which gives you basic access but it is ad-supported unless you pay for membership. The voice-chat rooms may make it harder to use with screen readers I'm not sure. Text-only rooms night be more accessible. Thanks for reminding me, I must go and have a look and see what's going on over there ...

well, when I installed it, it said get a nickname? So, I enter a nickname and password, and it says cannot be found. Where is the account screen is my next question

Ther are JAWS scripts for PalTalk 9.0, but don't know if they'll work for version 9.5.
